Stage 5 of the Bodensee Radweg is 38 km long with 190 m ascent/descent. This stage is entirely in Switzerland and starts at Rorschach and ends in Kreuzlingen.

Stage 4 of the Bodensee Radweg is 42 km long with 140 m ascent/descent and starts in Lindau, Germany, crosses through Austria, and ends in Rorschach, Switzerland.

Starting in Friedrichshafen and ending in Lindau, Germany, Stage 3 of the Bodensee Radweg is 25 km long with 50 m ascent/descent.

Stage 2 of the Bodensee Radweg is 30 km with 120 m ascent/descent starting in Überlingen and ending in Friedrichshafen, Germany. This stage passes beautiful lake views, vineyards, and several cute towns and I stopped at the Pfahlbauten Museum – a reconstruction of the prehistoric pile dwellings.

Stage 1 of the Bodensee Radweg Bike Route is 52 km and goes from Konstanz to Überlingen, Germany. This stage is mostly on asphalt bike paths and has 520 m of ascent and descent.

While in Beaune, France in the heart of Burgundy wine country, we went for a short bike ride (only 10.5 k) on the Voie des Vignes (Vinyard Way) trail from Beaune to Volnay and back.

We rented bikes and rode along the Elbe river from Kurort Rathen to Bad Schandau, crossed the bridge and then returned to Kurort Rathen via Lilienstein. This route was approximately 26 km with 900 m of ascent and descent.

While in the Mosel Valley in Germany, we biked a loop along the Mosel Cycle Path from Cochem to Senheim and back.

The Legacy Trail is a paved bike trail that goes from Sarasota to Venice, Florida, USA. We joined the trail at the Bahia Vista access point and rode to the Venice Train Depot end point and back (about 54 km.)

Stage 7, the last stage of the Mittelland Bike Route was 51 km and went from Yverdon to Lausanne. My least favorite stage of the trip.
