Biking on the Voie des Vignes Trail from Beaune to Volnay in Burgundy, France

While in Beaune, France in the heart of Burgundy wine country, we went for a short bike ride (only 10.5 k) on the Voie des Vignes (Vinyard Way) trail from Beaune to Volnay and back.

Biking along the Elbe River and to Lilienstein from Kurort Rathen, in Saxon Switzerland National Park, Germany

We rented bikes and rode along the Elbe river from Kurort Rathen to Bad Schandau, crossed the bridge and then returned to Kurort Rathen via Lilienstein. This route was approximately 26 km with 900 m of ascent and descent.

While in the Mosel Valley in Germany, we biked a loop along the Mosel Cycle Path from Cochem to Senheim and back.
