Repeat Roundup 2023
Many of the hiking, biking, and rafting trips we do are so much fun that I always say I want to do them again sometime. But, which ones do I actually go back to? That question was the inspiration for this post. Here is a roundup list of the activities that I already had a post for on the blog that I just couldn’t resist doing again this year. (At least those that I did since August when I thought of the idea for this post.) I wonder which ones I will do again in 2024?
Rafting the Linth Canal
As we had a spot of great weather in early September, we got in a late summer rafting run on the Linth Canal. Always enjoyable and highly recommended! (Original Post)
Hiking the Zürichsee-Rundweg Trail – Stage 3 Horgen to Richterswil
In mid-December, we were in the mood for a nice easy stroll along the lake, and so decided to walk stage 3 of the Zürichsee-Rundweg Trail again. We first did this walk in September of 2020 and we have done it a number of times since. Beautiful even on a cold, foggy, winter day! (Original Post)
Hiking part of stage 1 of the Zürich-Zugerland Panorama Trail – Uetliberg to Felsenegg
During the Christmas break, I did something I have been wanting to do since I moved to Switzerland – watch the sunrise from the top of Uetliberg. Since I was already up there, I also hiked a portion of stage 1 of the Zürich-Zugerland Panorama Trail going from the top of Uetliberg to the top of the Felsenegg cable car. (Original Post)
The sunrise was spectacular and I am so happy I went to see it. Here are more photos to show just how pretty it was.
