Category: Bike Route – Bodensee Radweg
The Bodensee Radweg is a 265 km long bike route that completely circles the Bodensee (Lake Constance). The plan I am following for this route is broken into 8 stages ranging from 22 km to 52 km. This is an international route that goes through Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.

Stage 5 of the Bodensee Radweg is 38 km long with 190 m ascent/descent. This stage is entirely in Switzerland and starts at Rorschach and ends in Kreuzlingen.
-

Stage 4 of the Bodensee Radweg is 42 km long with 140 m ascent/descent and starts in Lindau, Germany, crosses through Austria, and ends in Rorschach, Switzerland.
-

Starting in Friedrichshafen and ending in Lindau, Germany, Stage 3 of the Bodensee Radweg is 25 km long with 50 m ascent/descent.
-

Stage 2 of the Bodensee Radweg is 30 km with 120 m ascent/descent starting in Überlingen and ending in Friedrichshafen, Germany. This stage passes beautiful lake views, vineyards, and several cute towns and I stopped at the Pfahlbauten Museum – a reconstruction of the prehistoric pile dwellings.

Stage 1 of the Bodensee Radweg Bike Route is 52 km and goes from Konstanz to Überlingen, Germany. This stage is mostly on asphalt bike paths and has 520 m of ascent and descent.
